On April 7th, 2014, the US Department of Homeland Security announced a web flaw called "Heartbleed" that can potentially compromise personal information on secure websites. Gateway Bank has been working closely with our vendors to determine if our website and bank systems are vulnerable to Heartbleed.
The good news is that Gateway Bank's systems were never vulnerable to this flaw, and there is no need to change online banking passwords. Although your password was unaffected by "Heartbleed", you should always follow industry security guidelines with regard to regularly changing your passwords in order to help keep your account as safe as possible.
Thank you for trusting Gateway Bank for your banking needs.
